この時期は「雪がいよいよ激しく降り始める」という意味を持ち、

冬の本格的な寒さが訪れる頃を表しています。

暖房器具の出番が増え、寒さをしのぐための衣食住の工夫が本格化し

年末年始に向けての準備もそろそろ始めなくてはなりませんね。
